STUDIO DAÏ OAKES
Terms & Conditions
These terms exist to protect you as much as they protect us. By receiving an appointment confirmation by email, you acknowledge and agree to this agreement in full.
Last updated: June 2026
01
Services
Daï Oakes Studio offers women's recovery sessions, Clinical Pilates, pregnancy and birth preparation, pelvic floor support and Daï Massage. All services are provided on a private, individual basis and are fully tailored to each client.
Daï Oakes Studio does not offer session packages of any kind. Each session is booked and paid for individually. Requests to purchase packages will not be accommodated.
02
Private Pay. No Insurance
Daï Oakes Studio operates exclusively as a private pay practice. Sessions are not reimbursable through health insurance providers. This model exists to protect the quality, length and individuality of every session something insurance-based care structurally cannot offer.
If insurance-based care is a requirement, we encourage you to seek a provider within the conventional healthcare system.
Both approaches may be used simultaneously.
03
The Oakes Method™
The Oakes Method™ is a proprietary framework developed through more than twenty years of clinical practice across physiotherapy, women's health and movement rehabilitation in Brazil, France and the Netherlands.
Clients are welcome to ask questions about the approach at any time. The methodology itself is not subject to modification upon request. Clients are always free to seek additional or alternative care from other professionals.
04
Appointments & Confirmation
By receiving an appointment confirmation by email, the client is considered fully informed and in agreement with all terms set out in this document. No additional signature is required for standard sessions.
05
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Out of respect for that commitment, the following applies:
-
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
-
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a cancellation fee of €20.
-
If the session has already been paid in full, a refund will be issued with a deduction of €20.
-
In the event of a cancellation by Daï Oakes Studio, no fee will be charged and a full refund or reschedule will be offered without exception.
07
Pelvic Floor Sessions — Informed Consent
Pelvic floor rehabilitation may include internal assessment procedures. These are standard, evidence-based techniques used in women's health physiotherapy and are performed only with the client's full, informed and voluntary consent.
Before any internal assessment takes place, the client will be asked to read and sign a separate informed consent form detailing the nature of the procedure and the client's rights throughout.
Important: Consent may be withdrawn at any time, before or during the session, without any obligation to explain or justify. The client's comfort and safety are the absolute priority.
08
Confidentiality & Respect
Daï Oakes Studio welcomes women of all backgrounds, cultures, faiths, identities and life experiences. Every client is entitled to a respectful, confidential and judgement-free environment without exception.
All information shared within sessions remains strictly confidential and will never be disclosed to third parties without explicit written consent.
09
Image & Privacy Rights
The use of client images, videos or testimonials for any purpose requires prior written consent through a signed image rights authorisation form.
Client privacy is always respected and no content is shared without explicit permission. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting daiane.oakes@gmail.com
10
Client Responsibility & Health Disclosure
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding their medical history, current symptoms, medications, pregnancy status, surgeries, diagnoses and any relevant healthcare recommendations.
Daï Oakes Studio cannot be held responsible for outcomes, reactions or complications resulting from information that was omitted, withheld or inaccurately reported.
11
Temporary Physical Responses
Clients understand that physiotherapy, manual therapy, Clinical Pilates, movement rehabilitation and recovery-based interventions may occasionally result in temporary soreness, fatigue, tenderness, emotional release, increased body awareness or short-term symptom fluctuations.
These responses are generally considered normal and do not necessarily indicate injury or inappropriate treatment.
Clients are encouraged to communicate any concerns promptly so that appropriate adjustments can be made.
12
Activities Outside Supervised Sessions
Recommendations, exercises and movement strategies provided by Daï Oakes Studio are intended to support recovery, function and physical wellbeing and are prescribed according to the client's presentation during supervised sessions.
As the studio cannot monitor activities performed outside the treatment environment, Daï Oakes Studio cannot accept responsibility for injuries, accidents, symptom aggravation or other outcomes arising from activities undertaken independently outside supervised sessions.
Clients are encouraged to progress activities responsibly and to communicate any concerns, symptoms or significant changes in their condition.
13
Professional Scope
Services provided by Daï Oakes Studio are intended to support movement, recovery, education and physical wellbeing.
Sessions do not replace medical diagnosis, emergency care, psychiatric treatment or specialist medical services. Clients are encouraged to maintain appropriate relationships with their healthcare providers when necessary.
14
Minors
Clients under the age of 18 require written consent from a parent or legal guardian before sessions may begin. The guardian accepts this agreement on behalf of the minor.
15
Limitation of Liability
Recovery outcomes vary according to individual circumstances, adherence and biological factors. Daï Oakes Studio is not liable for results that depend on the client's adherence to the recommended programme or conditions that were not disclosed at intake. No specific result is guaranteed.
16
Recording & Media by Customer
Audio recordings, video recordings and photography during sessions require prior consent from Daï Oakes Studio.
Unauthorised recording, publication or distribution of session content may result in immediate termination of the session and/or discontinuation of services.
If a client continues to record after being asked to stop, the session may be cancelled immediately at the discretion of Daï Oakes Studio. Sessions terminated under these circumstances are not eligible for refund. If the session has not yet taken place, the standard cancellation policy will apply, including any applicable cancellation fees.
18
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Rotterdam.
17
Changes to This Agreement
Daï Oakes Studio reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes by email. Continued use of services following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
